I have been working with No Code for the past year and a half. With No Code, I have been able to build some incredible websites for myself and for others. Let’s dive into the top 8 No Code tooling I have used (this may change later).
1. Bubble.io
Let me just say, Bubble.io is amazing. Simply amazing.
You can build almost any web app you can imagine without picking up any code. With Bubble.io I was able to build a 2 sided marketplace where testers could connect with indie developers. It’s a truly powerful no-code building tool and I highly suggest it to anyone interested in no-code.
2. Wix
I had to add this to my list. Wix was being used long before I started diving into the no-code universe.
Wix is a great website for creating other websites that just need an information page. When I first started using Wix I was using it for personal websites. But today, I use Wix when I partner with a brand.
Wix’s editor is easy to use and creates beautiful websites. They even have some templates when you first get started. If you have not used Wix then I highly recommend checking it out.
3. Editor X
Okay, this is a little cheating. Editor X is part of the Wix platform, but once you start using it Editor X feels nothing like Wix.
Editor X editor gives a lot of code features to connect your code. You. can even connect it to your GitHub account. Editor X is the perfect solution for someone that is looking for a no-code platform that more advanced than just a Wix website.
4. Shopify
Shopify to me is a no-code/low-code platform. I use to use Shopify to build dropshipping stores for my clients and often times they would turn out beautiful.
Shopify has a very large marketplace on their website that helps to alleviate the need to know code. Often times I use this marketplace to add SEO tools when I am working on a client’s website. Overall, if you have not used Shopify give it a chance and you may be surprised by it.
5. Thunkable
When I had an idea for an app I Googled, “No Code App Builders”, and Thunkable came up as a suggestion. While I did not get a great amount of time to play with Thunkable, I still found Thunkable very easy to use.
If you are someone that is thinking about building an app then definitely check out Thunkable. The platform itself is desktop base but they do give you an awesome Thunkable app to test out the apps on your phone. Who knows, maybe later I will go back and actually build something with Thunkable.
6. Webflow
To be honest, I have not worked much with Webflow. I have seen websites that have been created with Webflow and they are absolutely astonishing. But I have not had the opportunity to work much with this builder.
I do have some friends that use Webflow and swear to it up and down. I trust these people so therefore I will suggest you try it out and let me know what you think!
7. Softr
I just recently started working with Softr and once you get the hang of Airtable, Softr is an amazing visual tool. After signing up for Softr I explored and saw some amazing websites that were built with the application.
I have to say if you are looking to make your Airtable pretty then Softr is an excellent choice to make!
8. Airtable
Airtable is a beautiful database builder that allows anyone to use their application. Having a little bit of database building is very helpful when starting with Airtable.
If you are looking to build out some databases then Airtable is right for you.
